Pallet Wood Dog Bowl Stand & Food Storage
A year and a half ago we added four paws to our family and adopted our sweet Annie. She is a medium sized dog so we wanted a raised food and water dish for her. Naturally, I headed over to Pinterest to find inspiration and requested Paul whip something up for her.
After we found our favorite designs, Paul merged them into one. We decided food storage would be super handy instead of having to walk from the sink cabinent to the bowl each time. I found a two-piece container set at Home Goods like this and he designed around it. The second container is used to store extra dog food in between filling up the smaller container. Everything else used to make we had on hand: used pallet wood, bowls, hardware, drawer slides and the drawer pull (up cycled from our Kitchen remodel).
Annie loves her stand and gets really excited when she hears that drawer slide open. She also appreciates having her food up off the floor; she is fancy like that. What do you think? Does your pup need a fancy dog bowl stand?
