Stop! Do You Have 5 Minutes?

Let me tell you how 5 minutes a day changed my life.

But first, a short back story.

I was once glued to my couch and couldn't find an ounce of motivation to get my butt moving. My body ached, I weighed the most I ever had and was overly anxious and very depressed. Everything felt hard. I know how hard it can be to just START.

Determined to pull myself out of that funk, I decided to start a morning routine. I wanted to be a morning person, starting my day off on the best foot possible. The whole sounded overwhelming, but I decided to just try.

So I started by setting my alarm clock a little earlier.

My goal was to roll out of bed and sit on the sofa for 5 minutes. Just 5 minutes before I'd get ready for work.

After a few weeks, 5 minutes turned into 10. And 10 minutes turned into 20.

Pretty soon I was coherent enough to start journaling - and then reading >>>mornings were so very hard for me!<<<

Eventually, I added morning workouts! >> who am I???<<<

Almost two years later, I still wake up early, but now it's >>2 hours<< early.

5 minutes each day can add up to a lot. Never underestimate the power of 5 minutes. If you take 5 minutes for yourself each day this week, it adds up to 35 minutes!

That's 35 more minutes than you thought you had.

Time is precious. Be creative and use it well, friends!
